PROJECT SUMMARY

A MESSAGE.

A PRESENCE.

A PURPOSE.

A vertical social-awareness visual created to keep international attention on the hostages taken on October 7. The piece combines live-action street footage with a fully integrated CG blimp, using the yellow hostage-awareness color as a clear visual symbol of solidarity, urgency and hope.

The Message

The campaign needed to communicate a sensitive public message quickly and clearly within a vertical social format.

The Presence

The blimp was designed as a large-scale visual object — something that could feel physically present in the city and impossible to ignore.

The Symbol

The yellow palette was chosen as a direct reference to the yellow ribbon and pin associated with the hostage-awareness movement, giving the object emotional meaning before the message is even read.

VISUAL BREAKDOWN

FROM SCENE

TO STATEMENT.

3D Layout

Camera tracking and scene blocking establish the blimp’s position, scale and movement in relation to the live-action plate.

Clay Object

A neutral clay pass tested the blimp’s form, scale and placement before materials, lighting and final look developmen

Lighting Match

Lighting was matched to the street environment, balancing direction, contrast and atmosphere so the CG object could sit naturally inside the plate.

Look Development

The yellow palette is a direct reference to the yellow ribbon and pin associated with the hostage-awareness movement, carrying emotional meaning before the viewer even reads the message.
