Social Awareness Campaign
A vertical social-awareness visual created to keep international attention on the hostages taken on October 7. The piece combines live-action street footage with a fully integrated CG blimp, using the yellow hostage-awareness color as a clear visual symbol of solidarity, urgency and hope.

PROJECT SUMMRY
The Challenge
Create a large-scale CG object that feels believable inside a real urban environment, while carrying a symbolically loaded yellow palette and keeping the campaign message clear, emotional and readable within the first seconds of a vertical social format.
The Solution
designed, animated and composited a fully CG blimp into the live-action plate, developing its yellow-and-white look around the visual language of hostage awareness. Tracking, camera match, lighting and compositing were used to make the object feel physically present while keeping the message direct and instantly recognizable.
The Result
A focused vertical campaign visual built for social platforms, combining a clear awareness message with a seamless CG integration into real-world footage.
VISUAL BREAKDOWN
3D Layout
Camera tracking and scene blocking were used to establish the blimp’s position, scale and movement in relation to the live-action plate.
Clay Object
A neutral clay pass tested the blimp’s form, scale and shadow relationship before materials and final lighting.
Lighting Match
Lighting was matched to the street environment, balancing direction, contrast and atmosphere so the CG object sits naturally inside the plate.
Look Development
The yellow palette was not treated as a decorative choice. It was developed as a direct reference to the yellow ribbon and pin associated with the hostage-awareness movement, allowing the CG blimp to carry emotional meaning before the viewer even reads the message.
Final Composite
The final pass brings together tracking, animation, lighting, material work and compositing into one integrated campaign shot.
