PROJECT SUMMARY

NOT A MOVIE.

NOT A CEREMONY.

REALITY.

A vertical awareness piece created around the 2024 Oscars, contrasting the glamour of a global awards night with the ongoing reality of hostages still held in Gaza. The entire installation was built in CGI — turning the red carpet, golden statue, ropes, pedestal and campaign messages into a staged public reminder that this horror is not fiction.

The Contrast

The concept was built around the tension between a world watching cinema and a reality that could not be treated like a film

The Installation

The full scene was created in CG to feel like a public display placed in Hostages Square, using familiar award-show symbols and turning them into something uncomfortable and direct.

The Message

Every element — the statue, carpet, ropes, signs and pedestal — was designed to keep the hostages present inside a moment the world was ready to celebrate.

VISUAL BREAKDOWN

FROM RED CARPET

TO REALITY CHECK.

Full CG Installation

The entire display was created in 3D, including the statue, red carpet, ropes, pedestal and campaign signage, designed to feel like a physical installation placed in Hostages Square.

Statue Design

The golden award figure was reimagined as a wounded public symbol, using a familiar awards-show silhouette to create discomfort instead of celebration.

Message Design

The campaign message was designed to be immediate and readable, making the contrast between cinema and reality clear within the first seconds of a vertical social format

Final Statement

The final image brings the full CG installation together as one direct visual statement: this is not a movie, and it cannot be treated like one.
